What are alcohol inks?
Alcohol inks are oil based medium used on slick surfaces like glass, metal, or yupo paper (plastic paper). Alcohol inks have to stay away from water or they have a bad reaction to each other. I use 91% alcohol to create water droplets and dilute the inks.
How I create with alcohol inks
When using alcohol inks on canvas since the canvas is a porus surface, there is prep involved. To prep the canvas for the inks, I use Kliz2 and make two coats. After I am created the alcohol ink painting, I seal the inks with Karmar varnish and two coats of finnishing varnish. Each painting is furnished with wire hanging with drings.

What are fluid acrylics?

How I create with fluid acrylics
To produce a smoother surface, I prep the canvas by painting two coats with Kliz2 and make two coats. After I create the alcohol ink painting, I seal the inks with Karmar varnish and two coats of glossy varnish. Each painting is furnished with wire hanging with d-rings.

Photographs
What are metal photograhs?
Metal photographs are made differently depending on the manufactuar. The photographs are created with inks that are infused into the surface of the metal.
Why do I love photography?
I love nature and gravitate towards the small details that make up the textures of plants and flowers. I also enjoy photographing insects and reptiles. When I traveled to Colorado and Denver, I fell in love with landscape photography.
